This is a defining moment in history, and in each of our lives: an opportunity, and a calling, to be part of an extraordinary movement toward a life-sustaining global community - The Great Turning.
Most people are not aware that this awakening is underway, because positive change rarely reaches the level of front page - or even back page - news! One of the book's underlying arguments is that a key to changing the human course is to break the silence that prevails when truth remains unspoken, reach out to one another to end the isolation, and change the stories that define the prevailing culture.
